Breakfast MenuThey say the most important meal of the day is breakfast, in fact… W. Somerset Maugham (1874-1965) said “To eat well in England you should have breakfast three times a day.” At the Camilla House it is said “To eat well in Cornwall you only have to have our breakfast once!” Consequently they endeavour to ensure that your appetite is satisfied however large or small. As far as possible local ingredients from local suppliers are used to minimize 'food-miles' and ensure high quality and great flavour - for example the butter comes from Trewithen dairy, free-range eggs from Pengoon farm, sausages are made especially for the Camilla House by Ian Lentern of Penzance (a well established family butcher) and the Haddock / Pollock is landed and smoked in Newlyn - as close as it gets. The delicious jams and marmalades are truly homemade at the Camilla House and the tasty Cornish honey comes from Porkellis just north of Helston - ideal for spreading on the freshly home-baked bread available in the morning. Breakfasts are prepared from scratch and to order so the whole affair is a relaxed & leisurely one at the Camilla House. To Start Please help yourself to fruit juices, cereals, grapefruit,
