Classic Bedrooms at the Camilla HouseLike the Superior bedrooms, Classic bedrooms are furnished to a high standard and offer an excellent alternative for the single traveller or when requiring a quiet room that allows for a peaceful and relaxing stay.
Rooms in this series are as follows:
KynanceKynance is a ground floor single en-suite with shower which is ideal for those who don't wish to climb stairs. A warm and comfortable single room overlooking a small court-yard at the rear of the Camilla House, Kynance is a popular room for single travellers. MullionMullion is a first floor double en-suite with shower that overlooks St.Mary's Churchyard to the rear of the Camilla House. A delightfully calm and relaxing room Mullion is a firm favourite for many repeat guests. PendowerPendower is a reasonable sized first-floor sea-facing single bedroom with its own private bathroom which is exclusively for use of a guest staying in Pendower (comprising of a toilet, shower and washbasin which is in addition to the washbasin in the actual bedroom). During recent refurbishments the decision was taken not to turn it into an en-suite bedroom as this would have taken up so much space and would have sacrificed the comfort provided. As the Camilla House is a small Georgian town-house property the distance to the bathroom is short - comprising of 7 steps to a half landing then 8 steps to the second floor landing where the bathroom is. Soft fluffy bathrobes are provided as standard! LamornaLamorna is a comfortable first floor en-suite room (shower) with the advantage of having a zip & link bed to provide either a super king-size double or twin beds. At the rear of the Camilla House this room has the advantage of being quiet & sheltered with the only real sounds coming from the distant striking of the town clock or the seagulls. A good size en-suite makes this room a good option for relaxing in peace.
