
Environmental PolicySummaryWe recognise the importance of the environment both where we live and further afield, after all it is one of the key reasons why we have the visitors we do. Our aim is to balance the needs of our own business and those of our guests against our desire to protect our natural surroundings. In short we believe in identifying environmental issues and acting responsibly whilst running the Camilla House. In order to help maintain and enhance our 'Environmental Policy' the Camilla House is involved with the local Cornwall Sustainable Tourism Project (known as the CoaST Project), the Future Footprints Campaign, the national Green Tourism Business Scheme (GTBS) and the national Hospitable Climates Campaign managed by the Hotel & Catering International Management Association (HCIMA). We are committed to ensuring that environmental best practice is fully implemented throughout our own operations, processes and activities.
